Description
We are pleased to introduce a new edition of our Organic Coffee line, grown by farming families deeply committed to environmental stewardship. With every harvest, synthetic pesticides and fertilizers are replaced by organic inputs, a practice that requires patience, dedication, and careful attention to every tree. This commitment goes hand in hand not only with our mission to offer exceptional coffee, but also with our dedication to supporting the well-being of the producers we work with, the communities they belong to, and the ecosystems that surround them.
For this edition, we are proud to feature a coffee from La Siberia, the farm of producer Elkin Méndez, located in the village of Alto de San Juan at 1,750 m.a.s.l. As a member of a local association of small coffee producers, Elkin is part of a community that has embraced organic agriculture as a way to strengthen farming practices, protect natural resources, and connect with markets that value quality and sustainability. After decades shaped by the coffee price crisis and armed conflict, producers in the region continue to create new opportunities through coffee.
This lot underwent a traditional fermentation of 20 to 30 hours, followed by a washed process and approximately 24 hours of mechanical drying in a silo dryer. The result is a coffee that reflects the commitment of producers like Elkin to responsible coffee farming and showcases the remarkable potential of one of Colombia’s most important coffee-growing regions.
Discover this new Organic edition and enjoy a coffee that reflects its producers’ commitment to quality, sustainability, and the future of Colombian coffee farming. We hope you join us in the experience!
